The squirrel that I painted on the second mural that John Kowalczyk and I made on the Beerline Trail this past fall. The squirrel is about 18 feet tall, and all spray paint.

Hole in the Wall
I have been playing with the idea of creating the illusion of depth and space in some of my recent paintings. I made a mock up for another mural that didn’t happen that employed these ideas and I was hooked. I am glad that I was able to make one of these at the size of a wall and I think this rough surface looks great.Hand cut stencils and spray paint.
Geometric Paintings
I have been working on some new ideas, I really like the combination of the 3D pattern and the wood grain. I also am really liking how I am starting to create the illusion of space, especially in the purple version. 
Shapes on Wood
I have been working on some new paintings recently that have been expanding on a number of ideas that I have explored before. One portion I have been loosely calling Shapes on Wood. (Super creative I know) these two went to the Art Pop event at Taylors Milwaukee September 27th 2015. The blue one happens to be the first pattern that I created a vector for and then laser cut the pattern, the other one features a hand cut stenciled pattern which is how I have been creating all the other patterns up until this point.
The blue pattern of squares is also a small test for much larger project that I have been working on. Photos to follow soon.
